The Problem
The Unit Status collapsible section of the new Right side information panel complacently disappears when it is toggled from expanded to collapsed when there is no scenario loaded.

Steps to recreate the problem
1. Start Command (command.exe)
2. Close the Start Menu dialog
3. Collapse the unit status section in the Right side information panel
4. The Unit Status section disappears, and there is no way of getting it back until the game is restarted.

Happens even after a scenario is loaded, before a unit is selected. Collapse Unit Status, then it disappears.

Guys, try in Option window -> General tab -> Reset position of secondary windows. This may help.

Same problem, couldn't get the unit status tab back even with a game restart.

Is that in 870.4?

870.3 actually. And restarting it again fixed it.

Can you update to 870.4. Not sure that is fixed in .4, but reporting bugs in an old version without saying what version you are running gets people running around. There are two threads on this particular issue and it was addressed in the other thread.

Confirmed that this is not fixed in Build 870.4, but is fixed in the current development build so the fix will be available in the next public release.

Was going to report this. I hope that next patch is soon. Just when I started playing the game again. Well, at least it's fixed. Thank you guys!

You can avoid the bug by not fiddling with the unit-status panel before loading a scenario and selecting a unit.

If you go into making a mission first than selecting a unit, that status panel will automatically be gone....
