New Observations

It's a little late in the beta but I am into another Axis game on veteran with the following observations:

1. After a successful Sealion the British Resistance supply attacks come a little too harshly and frequently. Maybe reduce the chance a bit? I have a strong garrison level there but the towns and cities never seem to get above 3 supply.

2. Even as my units were half way up the UK the British kept sending units to Egypt. Can the unit scripts such as Tenth Army, 7th Armour, US tanks etc change to the UK if I am near London etc?

3. The Soviet morale is still too high in 1941 and 1942. It should be allowed to drop somewhat until 1943 when the bonuses kick in. Maybe Riga, Odessa and Minsk should be NM objectives as well? Maybe have an initial morale drop from the shock of a German DOW? This would help with historical gains in 1941.

4. Shouldn't Finland's convoy to Germany run at 0% Axis? They shipped important resources to Germany from pre-war.

I agree with all of your points.

I think if the Axis manages to conquer Britain (Basically London and Manchester) it would be nice to get a DE about installing a puppet government. Could look something like this:

Do you want to install "puppet government" in London?

YES:
-Cost 200 MPP
+Less partisan activity
+Able to build a few "British Axis troops" or get some for free.

NO:
+No cost
-More Partisan Activity

I like your suggestion about Soviet Morale. If Riga, Odessa and Minsk were NM objectives maybe the axis will have a real chance of reaching moscow before 1942.

Sure. [:)]

1. I have made a note to look at the effectiveness of the British resistance, but the problem is probably mainly to do with the resources not rising above 3 and that is an engine issue, as they will only rise to 5 if the UK surrenders, and as the UK transfers its government to Canada or Egypt, this doesn't happen.

2. & 3. I have made a note to look into these.

4. Feedback I've had previously about Axis income is that it has been too high, so I took measures to reduce it and I don't want to add any more to it at the moment. If longer term feedback changes that view then this can be reviewed.

I'm not sure about a puppet British state. While it's true that someone like the Duke of Bedford might have been prepared to play that role, I cannot see the British people having accepting Nazi rule even if a marginal aristocrat like him had decided to play the role of Quisling.
