Just a suggestion -- allow the map scroll speed to be adjusted up or down. I would adjust it down to a slower scroll speed. May even want to consider an option to turn it off if a person desires and just use the arrow keys to scroll the map.

Just a suggestion, don't know if you've tried already or if it will help you. Try tinkering with these settings, the green highlighted ones were the ones that made the difference for me.
