Is there a quick start guide somewhere or a tutorial? Didn't see anything so I assume its to watch AARs?

There is an "Essentials Guide" on the launchpad menu. I read that before doing much of anything, and it was pretty helpful. But even after that, I feel the need to read the entire manual. Fortunately, it seems like an excellent manual.

No tutorial that I can see. I can live with that, as the documentation seems excellent.

I thought the same thing, but there's a tutorial unit in the manual - see p. 26 (Part I, Section 4).

Yep, I just found it; it's very helpful. Wish I'd read it before I played turn 1.

What do you mean by a "tutorial unit" in the manual? I love a good tutorial that helps me learn the game while I'm playing.
