Says they cannot be placed. At first I thought it was because I had units on those spaces so I moved them off. But, next turn even though the locations are clear it still says I cannot place them. Italy is not at war.

Not sure what I am doing wrong?

I also noticed now the supply on the locations is 3, it was 5 before. Is this the cause? If so why did it change and how can get it back to 5? Also when I hit "S" I don't see any supply numbers for any of Italy, is that right?

Also Italy is missing from the War Maps and it's not listed in the Diplomacy screen. Is my game super bugged?!

Confirmed a bug... but it seems to be really rare.

I'm getting the same thing with my current game. I'm playing the 1939 scenario as the Italians with everyone else including the Germans set to be controlled by the AI.

Ahh bummer, what is happening is that Italy loses it's Capital of Rome and then the cities supply goes down where you can't place any units. Check the War Map do you still see the Italy icon?

These are not available for placement until early 1940.

I have the same issue. I can't place the same two Italian units, and my Italy is also missing from the war map. In my game Italy hasn't joined the war yet either (July 8 41) and now I assume it never will because of the issue. Is there anything I can do to either fix my current game or avoid this in a new game?
Also, in my game Rome is not the capital anymore for some reason, I assume this is related.

Same bug here. Can't place the Italian units on the map. Italy remains at 65% mobilization and never enters the war despite victories in Poland and France.

Those 2 units in north Africa go on certain hexes only, you can't place them until you open that hex up

Seeing that it was a bug I deleted the games last night to restart a campaign. Thanks from the prompt reply.
