I cannot get this game to run in full screen. When I go to the option and click "full screen," is see an X go in the box, the option screen goes away and nothing else happens. dxdiag is attached.

OK on the windows only. I read through the thread you posted and the best work around is to change the screen size when playing.

uninstall ASUS AI Suite and re try if game works any better,

then try a selective start up option to see if you can change it and it works better for you,

last more drastic options is to re install windows 10 on it's own, then no left overs are left from a previous version, sorts out many gaming issues, but not for the one with screen size issues i'm sorry to say, that's age of program and how it was made at the time to support hardware in the day
