You'll forget about the extra $15.00 soon enough. But, this game can be the best entertainment value you'll ever get for your dollar. I got the boxed edition several years ago and I'm on my third campaign game. If you figure that I've done 2250 turns in that time frame and if I spent $59 on my boxed version that works out to slightly more than 2.5 cents per hour. That's the kind of deal that's hard to beat!

LOL, I have the download only version from release. I finally splurged and bought the box version. Cuz I wanted the box... and the manual...

I have the manual and it's very handy to be able to thumb through it. I'm not much of a kindle person.

That's unfortunate....
Is there at least a Summary of what changes have been introduced with patches "after" the printing of the Manual ?
Also, with the digital download when launching the Autorun there is an Option to get the Manual, is "that" PDF just like the printed Manual or that one is updated, at least to a point ?

War Plan Orange: Dreadnoughts in the Pacific seems cool any one play it dos it work and is fun still in 2017 ?

The word from players who played the game is that it is pretty boring - big, wide open Pacific Ocean with combat TFs wandering around and all too rarely bumping into enemy TFs. No carriers, no excitement.
