I had not played in awhile and attempted yesterday. Will not work. I have the QB module.

Game loads. Go to Single Player. When I hit any of the Waterloo or QB options, the description of the scenario does not come up. I click to play and the game freezes.

I reinstalled the QB pack. Still same problem.

Help?

site or steam version?

Not sure. By that, I mean that I had the CD versions initially and then registered them on Steam.

so you play the steam version then?

My Steam directory does not have the Properties options to verify integrity. It just says that Waterloo and Waterloo (Shortcut) are "non-steam mod or shortcut"

So looks like it is not installed as Steam. When I want to play in the past, I have both clicked from Desktop or open through Steam. Both worked fine in the past.

I bought the QB expansion direct from Matrix

you need to have all on steam to play on steam, not base game then add in a site version DLC, just go into your account and get a steam key for the Matrix DLC and add it into steam, so all parts are steam parts and serials, then it will all work fine, if Verify Integrity of Game Cache didn't work with that error message, then you are only playing it in steam but don't have it installed, is what it's saying.
