The manual explains that a wreck provides a cover for infantry.
Does an AFV give also a protection's bonus to infantry stacked with it ?

Yes, as long as the AFV stacked with the infantry is friendly and the AFV is stationary.

There are some features/rules (like this) of the game that are not described in the manual.
Would you be interested in a list of them, with a suggestion of the pages where they could be included in the manual ?
The manual of TOTH is extremly well-written, there are already a lot of things to understand and to remember, it's also part of the pleasure to discover some undocumented feature. But it can also help the player to know all the détails (and this rule about AFV and infantry is rather usefull to know).
