Steam Purchase

Hello. New user user. Am about to purchase Strategic Command and Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa but thought I would see if they were available on Steam first. Barbarossa is on sale at the moment so will probably get it from there. I'm hoping I can then order the printed manual separately from Matrix Games but just wanted to check that that was still the case.

Thanks

Cheaper on Steam as it is on sale

As I understand it, you have to buy the manual at the same time as the game, to get a printed version, as the game is also provided inside the manual... There is a sleeve for it.

Also, if you buy on Matrix, more money will go to the devolopers (which is a good reason, imho to do it) as I understand it.

Just to confirm. If I buy the game from Matrix Games now, then I will still receive a Steam key, even if the game is more expensive in Steam at the moment?

Yes, the Steam key is nice to have since you can install very easily when you have a new machine. Mostly, I buy from Matrix and install separately.
