Over the past three weeks I've carried out a number of search on different forums and found nothing. All I get is this and I know the word exists and even if I expand the search to more words I still get nothing. What gives?

I spent a half hour last night trying to get it to work and threw in the towel.

I've just been trying to get that to work but struggling there as well. I can search all forums but when it comes to specific ones I find crap. This is what I'm using for AE. Is it correct?

site:http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/ "War in the Pacific: Admiral's Edition" (your search term)

You are setting up a search in Google, so you don't need the http://www.

There was some very recent discussion on this in another thread that showed the correct syntax for the search terms. I'll try to find it.

Frankly it is poor replacement for forum search, one needs to be very specific.

I use simply: "search term" site:http://www.matrixgames.com/forums
