a very aged newby would appreciate if any could help scourge of war waterloo edition,clicked on grog toolbar in mods,not making an appearance on any scenarios or on sandbox,thanks in advance

Did you install the entire grog mod folder under the Mods folder for SoW?

Thamks,yes I did,both mods are accessible from the game menu and appear to be in the mods file

OK, stupid question. After selecting the desired mods, did you hit the tab "Use Selected Mods"? If so, did you get an hourglass icon for a minute. And did the screen revert back to the main menu? If not, then you may be missing some parts of the mod. I would suggest deleting and and re-extracting the mod to the Mods folder.

One more thing, do you have more than one grog mod available to select? It didn't hurt me, I had Grog Hi Rez, Grog 3.2(?) and the Grog V (only one selected) but apparently you should only have one Grog mod folder and delete others.

Also, Grog V should be used with scenarios from the User Scenarios tab:

Attention: All SP scenarios played with this mod must be selected through the 'User Scenarios' screen, otherwise they will CTD. from NorbSoft mods forum.

This is not your issue I realise, but try and select a scenario from the 'User Scenarios' and see what happens.

Also, you must click on the mod's name twice for the yellow box to appear, signifying the mod is enabled. This is a common error for first timers.

I had a problem with the Grog toolbar V in multiplayer.
Asks to disable it.
Really can not play in the multiplayer with this mod?
