Not sure what happened. Halfway through third game it just started crashing at startup.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, no luck.

Never mind. I figured it out. Corrupted save file. Crashed whenever I was trying to load game or save game in progress but could start a new game. So I cleared out the save directories and now everything works!

It might be something to look into though. It appears if there is a corrupted file in that directory, the game crashes with no explanation.

Perhaps an error message stating the issue and the location of the directory would be helpful both to the player and developers so they don't have to field unnecessary support requests.

Same problem - crashes when I try to load saved game. Did you just delete saves or is there some file location to find and delete - if so, where and what files?

Thanks gentlemen, and typically when there is a corrupted save file the game will highlight the file as such and handles it accordingly, i.e. without crashes. Seems like there might be a case here where the saved file is in a state outside of the normal in game handling... if either of you have one of these corrupted save files, could you send it to me for further analysis?

Save data (.sav file and the .dat file) is saved to this folder:
C:\Users\Ben\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War In Europe\Save

Except I suspect you will have a different user name to Ben (!)
