How to prioritise rail repair?

I would like to know how to prioritise rail repair in certain areas. In my WA GC, the US construction units love to go to corsica for a holiday when there's massive amounts of work to be done in Sardinia! I have to manually move the just ONE rail repair group around Sardinia trying to get all the rail repaired but it seems like a massive task for just one group which cannot even be broken up.

managing the auto repair is tricky. Its not really meant to be under your control - sort of imagine it following political/wider priorities than those that are your focus in the game.
Solutions - best one is if you really want them on say Sardinia, allocate them to a corps HQ that is on the island - allocated at the corps level they tend to stay close to that HQ.
In reality you don't really need the rails on either Sardinia or Corsica. Get all the ports up and running (priority repair and/or placing a TF in the port - if its level #1/2 it will auto repair), expand the airbases near the ports to their max and that should be all you need. Accept the impact on your truck pools - its not as crippling for the allies as it is for the Germans to have to use this up.

What's that? Do you mean the task forces attached to the amphibious hq's? They repair ports? How do you remove the task force from the amphibious hq?

If you place an amphibious hq adjacent to a
size 1 or 2 port that is damaged it will repair it 100% during the logistics phase (ie leave the TF there at the end of the turn, the port will be reapired next turn.)
