beginner player looking for opponent. Willing to play as the soviets or the germans.

I am not really familiar yet with common house rules. I read about soviet Attack or Defence + 1, but not yet sure what that means. Also not sure whether to play with Mild Blizzard and/or Random Weather.

Is there any list of commonly used houserules somewhere on this forum?

Would love to play a campaign game as the Russians.
Have played a lot solo back in 2014 (almost exclusively as the Russians) but nothing since.
Looking to get back into play.
Not sure about the common house rules.
I would want to play with the historical weather as an early snow can be a game changer for the Germans
(As well as a very late start to winter for the Russians)
Would not mind playing with the reduced blizzard effects as well
I am retired so can do at least one turn every day depending on your schedule
One note, will be out of town from Dec 24 through Jan 4-5 so not turns those days

edit : technical issue solved. Setting in the general setting to Save sent pm's to the sent folder.
