Evacuating factories

How important is it to evacuate Armaments/Heavy industry/Vehicle factories ? Where are the shortages later in the game...

In my current game, i was short of armement point and manpower at the end of autumn 1941.
And in 1942 i'am using all my production in real time.
So the more you save in armaments, the better, and the faster you will built your army.
For vehicle and HI i'am still good (currently in july 1942). The shortage is probably later in the game.

The vehicle factory that really matter is in Detroit and can't be captured. But still is better to save all factories.
Both HI and Armaments are essential to your war effort so again save as many as possible. Personally I try to save at least 200+ HI and 330+ Armament points.

Destroying the factories in Detroit will be possible in World at War, the megagame following WITE 2 and War in Europe. Planned release Date: 2030

Do not forget the mix with war in the pacific !! The raid on detroit will be performed by the japanese special landing force from submarines.

And the last German division on the map will rout to Argentinia (many Nazis escaped to this country after WW2) and disband there.

sorry to say but you are wrong, you forgot about the secret Nazi base in Antarctic.
( in actual fact the local papers have been reporting the discovery.. some 60 miles from the south
pole)
