Acquired target by an AFV in motion

According to the rules (page 99), "acquired : .........stationary AFV receives fire bonus when firing......".
In the last version of the game, the player can move an AFV, let this AFV in motion, then fire with the main weapon of this AFV during the advancing fire phase.
The target hexagon is then designed as "acquired". Yet, the AFV is not stationary, it is in motion.
Regards.

I have forgotten to say that you can easily check this : play the 4th tutorial scenario as german and move some of the german AFVs north, let them in motion and they will in the same turn be able to fire at some US infantry units.

I just played scenario 004: I moved all three AFV, stopping the Marder III and leaving the StuG in motion. All of them gained acquisition when firing at infantry.
I'm puzzled because I set up a "fire test" scenario, with 10 IS-2m firing at 10 Panther G under various conditions and the IS-2m's NEVER gained acquisition, not even when they didn't move :[&:]. I would like to hear Peter's remarks about this issue.
The test was aimed at gaining some idea about to hit probabilities: the data I obtained is not very reliable, because I only carried out 10 test for every condition so there is room for wide statistical variation.
Test range was 9 hexes, the Panthers are large targets (easier to hit) and were stopped.
1st test (Fire Segment, Firer BU): 8 hits
2nd test (Fire Segment, Firer CE): 8 hits
3rd test (Advanced Fire Segment, Firer BU, Stopped after moving): 1 hit
4th test (Advanced Fire Segment, Firer CE, Stopped after moving): 1 hit
5th test (Advanced Fire Segment, Firer BU, In motion after moving): no hits
The only lesson I learned is "don't expect to hit something after moving"

). More extensive tests are required to assess the subtle differences between BU and CE status or between <stopped after moving> and <in motion>

Gribeauval,
If you have moved (or just started the engine) your AFV during its movement segment and the AFV did not stop before the end of its movement segment, when you fire with this AFV in Advancing Fire Segment this vehicle should not be able acquire target (or your AFV didn't move but the target AFV did is moving). That's the game rule, I will test the case you described above.

This is what happened when the StuH fired in motion:

And here is the saved game: both the StuG and the Marder are in motion and still have to fire.

I carried out more test firing, and the results confirm that being CE seems to have its advantages:
IS-2m firing at Panther, range = 9 hexes
BU = 18 hits / 30 shots = 60.0% hits
CE = 23 hits / 30 shots = 76.6% hits

Thanks for providing the saved game file for me, makes the debugging and fixing bugs much easier for me. So yes indeed, you guys found a bug. This only happens however when firing vs Infantry Target Type. When firing against enemy AFV (firing or target AFV in motion). I will include the fix in the UPDATE3 that I started to work on.
Cheers!
PS: I have decided to share this fix with you all, as a beta patch. You can grab it here, make sure you have UPDATE2 installed before you apply the 1.0.53 build patch.

Correct

I need a clarification: should an AFV which moved
and stopped in the Movement Segment gain acquisition when it fires in the Advancing Fire Segment (e.g. the 251/9 in the screenshot)?
I can provide a saved file, if it is required [:)]

Yes, that's OK

Another possible acquisition issue: the StuG III moved and stopped in the Movement Segment, then fired on the T-34 in the Advancing Fire Segment but gained no acquisition.
Is post-movement acquisition (for stopped vehicles) limited to Infantry-type targets?
