Recovery of integrity

The integrity stat of a unit, is it recovered only by refit, replacements or field repairs? Couldn't find exact info in the manual.

Integrity is a defacto 'unit strength' measure. A unit with 50% integrity will be at half strength so the only way to increase integrity is, as you've indicated, by gaining additional men and equipment.
