Panzer Corps Wehrmacht and Expansions Installation Problem

I've had the Panzer Corps Wehrmacht core game, the Grand Campaign Mega Pack and the Allied Corps expansion for some time now. I finally purchased the Afrika Korps, Operation Sealion, Soviet Corps and all 3 US Corps expansions today and tried to install everything.

I installed in the following order,

Panzer Corps Wehrmacht
Grand Campaign Mega Pack
Allied Corps
Afrika Korps

And then I ran into problems. After I installed Allied Corps, the game version was at v1.20. After I installed Afrika Korps, the game version reverted back to v1.10 and I no longer had access to Allied Corps.

I read in another thread where someone was having similar installation issues and the thread recommended uninstalling everything, running a registry cleaner file and reinstalling everything in a specific order.

I began to uninstall everything using the uninstall links in the Slitherine Start Menu. I uninstalled in reverse order of installation and everything uninstalled fine until I tried to uninstall Panzer Corps Wehrmacht.

There was no uninstall link in the Slitherine Start menu for Panzer Corps Wehrmacht, so I tried to uninstall it using Control Panel. I got an error message that said "Invalid uninstall control file: C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Panzer Corps\Uninstall\uninstall.xml".

I looked in the C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Panzer Corps directory and it was mostly empty, so I manually deleted the directory.

The other thread lists the installation order for Panzer Corps Wehrmacht and all of the expansions and I intend to follow the instructions in that thread. However, I'm concerned about the fact that I could not properly uninstall Panzer Corps Wehrmacht and the other thread also discussed the use of a registry cleaner to clean out traces of the old installations.

So, will I need to use a registry cleaner to set everything back to square one before I attempt to reinstall everything?

I have WIN 7 Pro 32 Bit installed.

The issue was Afrika Korps. It should have been installed after Panzer Corps Wehrmacht.

Please follow these steps:
1. Download the file attached in this message PanzerCorps_ClRegKey-x86.zip
2. Unzip the downloaded file and run the extracted file PanzerCorps_ClRegKey-x86.reg
3. Allow the "program" to edit/delete the Windows registry keys regarding the game
4. Install Panzer Corps Werhmacht
5. Install Afrika Korps
6. Install the Panzer Corps Grand Campaign Mega Pack
9. Install Allied Corps
10. Install Sea Lion
11. Install Soviet Corps
12. Install US Corps campaigns

VPaulus: I just took advantage of Matrix/Slitherine's 75% off Panzer Korps titles - I bought the Sea Lion ^ Afrika Korps (hard) disks; they arrived today (only 3 days after ordering!) I already had PK: Wehrmacht and the Grand Campaigns the last patch, nothing else. So I loaded bot AK & SL, and when I go to play, the main menu will only permit me to run the original Wehrmacht campaign & AK. I haven't tried SL yet. Bottom line, no Grand Campaign. So: will your above stated fix resolve this (and I need to uninstall everything first), and will I need to run the last patch AFTER everything's been loaded?

VPaulus: Thanks! Your fix worked. It just took me awhile to make it happen; I had to d/l the last update, and since I have satellite internet (I live in a rural area), I have to wait 'till late night for good speeds. Thanks again!
