Has anyone done art for some of the cruiser submarines.
The subs, I am talking about are. The Merchant sub Deutschland or U 151 Class. Also the U boat XIB.
The US 1920s designs with 8 in guns.

At one point we talked about allowed the US a cruiser version for my Mods. We elected, instead, to go with a couple more of Argonauts. Am pretty sure no art got created but will look in my files.

Thanks for looking John. I doubt any art work has been made. The question is which one of the four would they have built? I like numbers 3 and 4.

Definitely no art.
What source are you using? I've got Warships After Washington as a ready resource.

I was looking at the US Navy Spring Styles book 1 and some internet research. I really need to get some books.

I'll pull mine off the shelf and take a look. You said 3 or 4? I'll see what Jordan says.

I don't have anything on your plans but Jordan did write about something that caught my eye. The original Narwhal/Argonaut Classes were initially designed to have a small seaplane. Imagine several AMERICAN SS that mount two single 6" guns, could carry mines, AND have a seaplane. COOL!
Just might have to explore this in my Mods. Real design...just never fully realized.
Course the ship probably would have been slow and handled like a pig but...heh...a seaplane for all those AFB...
