i don't understand in file Events, Strenght.txt (1939 storm over europe). Why the MAP_POSITION it's afghanistan?

I'm rather confused by your post, as Afghanistan isn't referenced in the scripts, and the #MAP_POSITION= refers to places in France, e.g. 151,84 is Paris.

Am I missing something?

what is [2] ? What's its use [aligned_country_id]?

You are right, it is a bug as the 2 does represent Afghanistan and it needs changing to France which is 40.
