How to add GIS shapefile

I want to add some GIS vector to the CMANO. For ex. ADIZ into the map.

There is a directory 'CMANO WW ShapeFiles' and an XML file 'default.xml'.

Does anyone know how to invoke the custom made shp file into map?

Thanks!

Supporter,

Does WW mean World Wind? Can I use 'World Wind' to edit the shp file?

Thanks!

Hi,

This ability is currently reserved for the professional edition at the moment. Please contact us privately if you are interested in obtaining a pro license.

I am a hobbyist. Just wanna to develop some addon like Prepar3D does.

If the professional price is affordable, i'd like it.

How can I contact you?

I realize this is an old thread but, I have to ask. Is there any chance the public-non professional version of CMO will someday be able to use shapefiles? There is a version of Harpoon 2/3 that could import shapefiles. I found that really cool. I forget which version but, I have it here somewhere. CMO can incorporate custom image layers; why not just take the next step and include shapefiles as well? I think it could add lot to the hobbyist community.

I'm a former Harpoon user from the very beginning. CMO is the perfect follow-on to Harpoon. Well done and thank you!

Cheers

I remember that H3 version. I helped playtest the feature :)

We'll see what can be done. A few years back this would actually have been quite simple, but the DX11 renderer has complicated things on shapefiles.
