I've noticed that the AI likes to build US units in and around Bangor Maine.

For planes it doesn't matter but the land units then waste time marching to a port.

I never realized that Bangor was such a large troop staging area in WW2. lol

Seriously, wouldn't it make more sense for the US units to be built near a port.

AI is probably trying to place units as close to the front as it can without accounting for not being able to walk on water.
