Recently, I was editing the disposition of a group of ships, and on a whim decided to right-click one of the entries in the formation editor list. To my surprise, this brought up a menu with the options "Assign to patrol" and "Remove from patrol," the first lit up, the second greyed out. Clicking "Assign to patrol" doesn't appear to do anything, and the remove option is never clickable.

I couldn't find any reference to these options in the manual, and have never noticed them before. Does anyone know what their function is?

We didn't document it and its something that doesn't seem to work. Will check with the programmers to figure out why we did that If they know will provide and answer if not will make sure its removed.

Thanks for the reply! I haven't spent all that much time on the latest patch, and just wanted to make sure there wasn't some exciting new thing I didn't know about.
