An issue I've met with other scenarios where Pre-Game Setup is required...
My post is based on your [&o] Kolossal Campaign Game: Kursk.
See, please, the screenshot below (JPG).

I want to say first I read the Manual, page 20, paragraph 4.6.3.14, "REMOVE UNIT"; but it seems [&:] too elusive (always IMO) about how to proceed when changing the setup for a wrong placed unit. Explanation: the choosen scenario is CG001 - Psel Bridgehead. I wrongly set up my Leader: Sergeant C* ID#:45 with Radio ID#:15 in Hex:[28,11] Clear <GE Zone 1>. I want to move it in Hex:[29,10] Clear, Orchard in Season <GE Zone 1>.

The Leader and SW are selected on the map and the left lower text window, too. Clicking on the <REMOVE UNIT> button, then clicking on the new location: nothing happens... I'm certainly wrong (or a kind of rookie) but using <Alt> and <Ctrl> and other keys when clicking - or whatever else - gives me the same result: no change. I'm wondering if that function is really implemented - shame on me, I'm a poor believer! - but I would be very happy to get some help from you, or from other [8D] TotH's Vets!

I'm just guessing but - after you remove the unit, unit goes back to lower right hand corner box listing forces. Maybe then select from there and place? Not sure at the moment.

You have to select the unit in the right box, then press remove. It will disappera from the board and reappear in the right window as not yet placed.

I'm definitely a rookie ("une bleusaille", in French).
The legitimate Text Window for selecting/deselecting an UNIT TO BE REMOVED is the Lower Right Hand one.
