Creating/Simulating New movement type and Stealth Generator

So a question for anybody out there, how would you create/Simulate new movement types; ex. moving underground, a hover/repulsion system, and a jetpack. Also how would you create/simulate like a stealth generator. one that is active unless firing or to close to units/detected by Thermal imaging etc...
Is doing this possible within the game engine or am i grasping at straws. Admittedly my coding skills are lackluster but i would be willing to try if someone could point me in the right direction.

You are limited to the movement types in the game. A jetpack could be a helo, hover would be fast moving track or wheel. We have a stealth and low observable specials for platforms, but they are an always on thing.

Ok, Thanks Capn Darwin.
What about no prep time for amphibious movement of individual units rather reducing the prep time for everyone? And is there any possible way to assign 2 movement types to a unit? I suspect not but i figure its worth asking anyways.
EDIT****
Also is there a way to have a unit appear at a specific point on the map at X time or disappear from the map at X time?

Data only supports one movement type only. The amphibious special will let units swim at a slower speed across the water. No real way to change that code mechanic in Red Storm. You can use reinforcements and withdrawal times to bring units in and out of the game.

Okay, one more question that i have atm, in order to simulate an amphibious assault with the landing craft coming in to drop off infantry/vehicles, would i give non amphibious vehicles ext capacity -1 so they could be transported via landing craft? Also what movement would you suggest for the landing craft?

I pondered over that as well while developing the Polish faction and their marines.

Best solution I found ultimately was not to have landing craft at all; abstract their landing by using the arrival/withdrawal options that Capn Darwin described.

Until we get down the road a bit with the game engine, there is no way in Red Storm to have units load and unload from another source unit.

Alright, thanks for the information i really appreciate it, now only if i could stop adding new units i might get done. Unfortunately all the TI stuff i wanted to use i have to scrap because they dont want other people using their stuff, which is fine and they were nice about it which was a plus. I was going to post some of the new counters i made but alas i cant for 7 days from my 10th post, [:-] oh well.
Edit***
I just realized i hadnt posted 10 times, that weird, oh well.
