Possiable Supply Issue V1.01 Beta

This screen shot was taken at the very beginning of the turn. Notice the Afrika Korps Recon unit is supposed to be at 4 supply according to the map. However if you look at the bottom left corner where the unit info is displayed, you can see the unit is only at 1 supply.

As I said, this was taken at the beginning of the turn right after the supply calculations and before any units moved. Am I missing something, or is there something wrong? I have a save of the turn if needed.

Sorry for the poor quality, this is the 1st screenshot I've taken in ages and I'm a little rusty.

So it's a bug, because the way I understand supply the overlay is correct.

Thanks for the link. With the way people post things in several different categories its easy to miss stuff.

Hi Freeboy,

Can you send me an email to support@furysoftware.com to help me investigate this further?

I've been getting this situation a lot lately. The Afika Korps Infantry Unit is sitting on a supply source without moving, yet its supply is a lot lower than the supply its sitting on.

Hi

The reason here is that economic resources like Mines and Oil don't provide supply to units. The supply value there is simply an indication of the resource's strength.

It's a little confusing the way it is, I mean the displays for Economic Resources clearly say 'Supply'. They should say 'Supply = 0' shouldn't they ? Is there a reason why mines and oil will say, for example, they have an MPP Value of 20 and a Supply Value of 10, or 30 MPP and Supply of 10, when they don't have any Supply Value at all ? Shouldn't the on-map display show the Economic Value, since they don't provide any supply ?

Maybe it has to do with that they are usually on a RR and you need the supply number to know if the RR is still working.
