Also noticing some interface issues, clicking PBEM++ and there is no menu, it appears for a split second and you have to move the mouse around the screen to see the "Ok/Cancel" buttons.
Maybe something with my resolution 1080p

I am in the lobby Open Challenges in red are ??? You need to explain how this works a little more. Too much trying to figure things out on your own at this time.
When I press Join one of the several challenges something flashes, looks like a box to enter something. Then there is an OK and Cancel button ?? Is an email sent after each OK.
I also hosted a challenge. I guess someone will eventually respond.
Not being able to communicate with opponents does not allow to discuss options, sides and experince level before a game start. Not friendly at all.
I find navigating the site not easy. Finally figured out how to get here to the 'Public Beta Forum'. Quite frustrating.
I hope to enjoy the PBEM (have 20 years experience) but need to be able to talk to opponents at times. Never found sending emails with game files a chore.

Thank you for this feedback and yes Hubert is working on making PBEM friendlier.
We wanted to release it as a beta as soon as it was functional as we knew many people were looking forward to it (and had been waiting patiently for its release)
We'll also be working on improving sending messages to your opponent
I believe that Red challenges indicate that the campaign has been modified or is not on your system

Thank you for the response. I do have a bug where when I try to join the password box just flashes and then I see a OK and Cancel button only. I typed in the password, without seeing the box just to try and that worked, the box reappeared when I started typing.
Where should you post any bugs? Your forums are very confusing, just too much. I am experienced and can figure thing out.

Hi Guderian,
Please let us know if the new v1.01.02 PBEM++ Beta works any better for you in terms of that display issue you've noticed.
At the moment challenges issued in v1.01.01 will appear listed in RED as they are issued from older versions of the campaigns, as the campaigns have been updated for v1.01.02.
Another reason that a campaign may be listed in RED is if it is from a different language version of the game as that will also trigger a campaign mismatch warning as the campaigns will not match on both player's computers.
Best bet if you would like to have an open challenge accepted by another player that you are not familiar with, then I would suggest to not set a password as they would need to know this password in order to join. Passwords are helpful for issuing private challenges between two players that only want to play each other and are already familiar and in contact with each other prior to initiating a new challenge.
Hope this helps,
Hubert

I hope thats only temporarily as it would cut of the smaller non English communities from most MP games.

Agreed and we'll be looking to improve that all around.
