There are a million things that could kill you and marathon live streaming is probably not one of them. I'm guessing when they do the autopsy his smoking and diet will come out as bigger contributors to what killed him than his online time.

My concern with gaming has always been on the mental health side rather than physical health side. I think it's a good thing to have balance and make sure you're interacting with humans as much as you are electronics. You should always have fun with whatever you do as a hobby and it should never be a point of angst.

LOl well that's an entirely different problem and guessing the dude's in this place are not exactly the casenovas you wanna ask[;)]

There was a South Korean who is said to be first person to be killed by online games after he played non-stop for more than 3 days and developed deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot) from being immobile for so long. Although technically you could say being immobile killed him rather than the game and the same thing happens to passengers on planes from sitting for far less time, so I guess the lesson is to always shoot and scoot!
