[FIXED v1.12] CWDB bug? Early British Diesel Subs not recharging batteries

Hi, after a long hiatus I bought the Steam Version on discount and am back 
I started designing a scenario, a 1957 breakout attempt by 2 Sverdlov class cruisers supported by 2 Zulu class subs and land based AS-1 armed Tu-4s with the Royal Navy (HMS Bulwark and cruisers Sheffield and Superb plus Daring and Battle class DDs) trying to stop them.
I wanted to add 2 subs to the RN side as well, first using converted A class and later converted T class.
However, the british subs run themselves out of battery and then do not recharge them.
I tested the A-Class (conversion) and T-Class (conversion) both for 1957. They go to snorkel depth allright but then simply run on diesel while not recharging batteries and spamming the "has run out of fuel, switching to alternate" message infintely.
I only tested the opposition, the Zulu class subs, but they recharge perfect.
