Installation made easy for 2.1 thru 4.3b?

Dear Matrix Merry Men [MM&M],
Okay, I took Wild Bill's excellent advice and unloaded SPWAW 4.3b (because my campaigns and Encyclopedia on the Battle screen menu weren't working) . . . and just finished a fairly tedious reinstall of 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, and finally 4.3b.
After each patch install, I followed the instructions at the end which rebooted my computer.
I am now running a fully functional 4.3b - this is good
My question (and I am thinking of my brother for when I send him all these files to install) is there a simple, clean, efficient manner of installing SPWAW 4.3b without going through each of the patches as noted above? And do we really have to reboot the computer after each install . . . or may we wait to do this after the final patch?
