Pilot Database Question

One of the drawbacks of making a mod with Germany in place of Japan is that new pilots will by default, have Japanese names, unless they are from the pilot pool where I can do German names.

So the question is this. Suppose I have a squadron with 12 planes. If I populate the pilot pool with, say, 48 pilots assigned to the squadron, would that mean that the first 48 pilots drawn by the squadron will be the ones I listed in the pool or would it still be random whereby some Japanese names would appear before the first 48 pilots are utilized?

Seems like I've seen where you can update/set the default names ... but I might be confusing it with something else ... [&:][&:][&:]

Set the pool to zero, create enough pilots assign them to their air groups and the pool and it will work.
There's an example in the database already, the dutch pilots.

If you didn't assign enough pilots to the air groups available on start, random pilots (eg japanese) will be assigned.

Pilots allocated of the specific unit. So may be German or even a Finnish name.
But the other additions pilots in combat will be a normal pool, so the names will be Japanese.

Garry'll call you next week. Little time.
