Just finished the "Road ahead" Scenario.
Probably the "perfect done" scenario!!! Never had such satisfaction!!!!
I eveloped the russians in a deadly pocket with center at the station.
Completely destroyed the enemy forces at turn 16th while the scenario was designed to last 19 turns:D
Recieved my first ironcross!!
casualities:
2 men of bauman's squad
1 men of wirth's squad
3 men of MullerBuch 's squad
1 armoured car destroyed
2 men of 2lt Shwartz(37mm atg)
1 pzIII immobilized

AND That's ALL!!!!!!!

Almost incredibile!!! I can't believe to my eyes!!!!!


Edit to say that i gained 2538 points vs 76 gaine dby the soviets

I have to say that LV is making me learn a lot....since when i started my way of playing is improoving day by day...
already 6 awards gained by my men

Another Smashing DV for Kampfgruppe Vebber next to dubno area
we report very few casualities except for 2Lt Heidrich(J0-34mg recon team) who remained on the grassfield where he was hidden smashed by 3 T-28....this is a suffering loss for the group...with his 15 kills he was the best Mg-er of the kampfgruppe.....Stg Oertzen has been promoted to lead the recon team...now we're approaching the Stalin line.....

PS: in the MC watcher ther's something that doesn't work well....the promotion/replacement is a bit confused...it's never written when a man is promoted....in this case Heidrich came back as a KIA at the place that Oertzen left but the strange fact is that he came back with all the old stats and kills score....

Thanks Jim,but it's not a big problem....i know each of my men and remember if they get promoted or whatever else.

The Stalin Line has been broken by Vebber and his brave men.
Another DV but it was a hard job.
Lot og casualities.Every single units(ecxept for the two mortars and vebber's squad)suffered many losses.
Lost 2 Platoons' Mgs and 5 of the 7 recon units,but my core force is almost intact and is gaining experience evry battle....
Probably if that scenario at the Stalin line were lasting 2 or 3 more turns i could'nt be able to hold the ground conquered 'cause many soviet squads were counterattacking....

now there's the one with witmann...let's see...

Now Vebber's men are covering the Flank of L.A.H brigade....i choosed the option qhere u have both Witmann and the normal kampfgruppe. It's turn 11 out of 15 and i'm Stuck with only one VH conquered....heavy casualities and no chance to gat over a victory or even a draw....Witmann Stug is immobilized and my men are too tired to keep pushing....i made a terrible mistake making them operate in a very little zone,all massed,like a bottle neck...now i'm facing a kind of encirclement and i'm just holding the ground waiting for the end of this scenario....it's been a hard hit for my men's morale....

After a Draw obteined with wittman the Drama has started.

We were ordered to cover the flank of the advancing of 6th army towards kiev...
A littel village was our target.
The group was divided in 3 parts....we ecountered what i think was an entire motorized Soviet division(i never saw so many Truks and field guns..)....
Things were going pretty good and after 6 turns we gained strong positions and destroyed many enemy units...so i decided to advance in force to close the match.
Vebber took the lead of his men...MullerBauchman and Musser were beside him....a platoon of motorized soviet engeneers was waiting for us. The flames were all around muller's squad.He decided to involve the enemy in a hand to hand combat....8 men for muller,6 for the soviet....Muller and all his squad,one of the most experienced with 28 kills,got lost.Vebber and Musser tried to disengage running out of the wood.A 76FH gun was hidden somewhere on those hills and started to fire at Vebber.5 shots,4 kills....musser couldn't move anymore nor shot. the next turn vebber manage to rally and tries to walk away,BUT A DAMNED CREW were invisibly waiting...and shot...Vebber's squad was dispersed.....

I know,was my foult...i udervalueted the enemy.....
I managed to gain a MV but the loss of Vebber is a terrible hit for me and for my men....Strangely Wirth did not take command ...the division gave us a 1LT named Streich.....his skills are terrible....is there a way to make Wirth get promoted to Captain?
