The Japanese infantry were still refining their techniques at this time. In later attacks, they used swords, bayonets and assorted firearms instead of little trees. These later techniques proved somewhat more effective.

The Japanese infantry were still refining their techniques at this time. In later attacks, they used swords, bayonets and assorted firearms instead of little trees. These later techniques proved somewhat more effective.
