On the developer's request, I have uploaded the release candidate of the next English Civil War update on the AGEOD forum.

If you don't want to test it but you are interested in what is about to change, here is the list for the upcoming patch:

-- Some text Issues fixed.
-- Logbatch consumes a lot of memory issue fixed.
-- Leaders dont recover their stats after forming a group fixed.
-- Patch number does not show up fixed.
-- Issue regarding the construction of troops. Fixed, now you can build in the regions you have loyalty over 51% and if you have the assets needed.
-- Reg Southminster tooltip now shows ‘Clear’.
-- More WS for the Parliamentarian. Some structures generates more WS each turn.

Any idea of an ETA?

Are you also fixing the ability to gain War Supply honestly won on the battlefield? This function in ECW seems to be broken at the moment

I was hoping the royalists would get a WS bump too as another Dev agreed that needed to happen. In almost every campaign as the royalist I play I end up with boatloads of money and no WS which seems ridiculous. Waiting for this to be fixed before I fire up the game again.

Are you buying any replacements for your units? I posted one or two other threads with the issues I ran into and some others did concour. My main problem was that halfway through the game I had something like 599 gold and WS was constantly in single digits.

I can't find anywhere to spend the money! No green regions light up at the moment.

When is this new patch due to be officially released? Anyone know?

Maybe it could be wise to release a bigger patch covering the most we can and once it becames enough tested, release it as official.

Yes, but I really wanted to play this game, and when it was released there were a few problems and faults which we've identified and are now being corrected/adjusted. So now I find myself kicking my heels again waiting for the new patch to make it more playable!

I have asked Pocus for his help with the WS issue.
Anyway in my games WS is not the main need I have. Its money, as Parliament at least.
WS captured should not be a basic source of WS income. In fact I see in the battle log an amount that looks very high to what it should be.

The patch will be a RC and released next week.
Not sure of having fixed the WS issue in this patch, I need Ageod programmer here and his time is limited. Anyway this doesnt means the issue will be forgeted. My intention is to release a fix once we have it.
