Some questions

Can the player get replacements with his prisoners ? There seems to be such an option in the files, but I don't see it in the game.

In the Thirty Years War game, the leaders were never promoted on the battlefield. Has it been corrected in this new game ?

The parliament can get new ships during the game. It gives him a fleet with 8 units that can blockade a port. Could you not give him another option to get other ships later in the game (to blockade two ports for example) ?

Interesting query. This should indeed be possible, albeit a trifle limited ( in actual numbers ).

Not sure a correction is required here. Leaders were generally not promoted on the battlefield. Junior officers may well have taken over units where the senior officers got Killed or Wounded, but these were usually temporary "promotions" only. I await the official answer with interest...

This sort of implies that Parliament starts with a Fleet. So far as I recall it should do so.
Ships were not easy to come by in the ECW. One extra Fleet only ( for Parliament ) seems reasonable to me.

[ NB: The King does not ( or should not ) start with a Fleet, and is more likely ( or should be ) to only be able to obtain a small number of vessels ( 1-3 ? ) at any one time.
The possible exception to the latter point would be the transportation of troops back from Ireland. ]

It should be possible to change prisoners for replacements, this could be bugged, I will check it.
Some leaders are designed to be promoted, like Byron.
There is an option to get more ships for the Parliament.

Thanks.

(it is certainly bugged, because i have a lot of prisoners, but no option to convert them in replacements).

Seems ok ( if indeed it does not apply to all - as suggested by the reply ).

"An option" appears reasonable...
