So im playing 30 years war all good on my old computer. bought a new one - and started to get crashes! did all the normal things - reset options - downloaded all over again - played as administer, nothing worked.

so what was the problem - had a wireless mouse - somehow a bad connection would periodically crash on rapid use. installed wired mouse all ok!
the lesson - you never know!
