Especially with the bigger monitors these days everyone has (15" is worthless, 17" you can buy almost free, 19" rules the day) there should atleast be 1152x864 - 1600x1200 reso at maximum.

I cant think no other more frustrating thing than been forced to scroll huge map in a small resolution in a big screen. Like trying to watch a 50" tv through a toilet paper roll.

The game plays in full screen, 800x600 true color mode.

I assume this is old news and 1024x768 is allready in, but id still like it upped to maybe 1600x1200 just for the sake of huge map.

I couldn't agree more, but I'm not sure if it's in the budget, folks are already griping about the price tag. I hope I'm wrong though

1600x1200 gives you great resolution, but unfortunately all those little icons and symbols can become so small that you need a magnifying glass to determine what they are.

With todays displays (19-21) 1024x768 is absolute minimun and 1152x864<averidge.

Having 1600x1200 is no worse than 800x600. Both are equally on the both sides of extreme. Happy medium would be somwhere in-between.
