Matrix says 1.5 GB (XP), 2 GB (Vista / 7)
Steam says 8 GB.
What is the good number.
Thanks.

steam uses extra processors than a standalone site game, so the requirements for ram tend to be higher when a given game is on steam, the true amount of extra ram depends on too many given factors to be more precises as different o/s will handle memory better than others, and also depends on what else is running on the given pc at the time, background apps and programs, the min and recommend settings are just that, a guide

Thank you.
I hope my 4 GB RAM will be enough with Windows 10.

windows 10 is somewhat a hungry beast regarding ram, seems the more you have, the more it will use, to of my test pc's now have 16gb and my main gaming rig has 32gb, and tbh i can't tell the difference between any of them, on my others, i go from 4 gb to 8gb, the only one i have on 4gb is a laptop, and as it's low end cpu wise, never bothered upgrading it as yet as couldn't see the point, so fingers crossed and you should be fine, like everything nowadays, run with as much turned off as you can, so a clean profile for gaming,

as as many unneeded background services as well, it all helps
