Has anyone done art work for or included in any mod the Japanese Aircraft Salvage Vessels.

They do look cool, and would be great if they added some type of effect.

The name is a bit misleading, these guys are lttle seaplane tenders. The first batch of eight 100 ton class carried one float plane. The rest (150-300 classes) all carried two. The numbers are a bit fuzzy but looks like there was about 60 total. None of the wooden hull version were completed. I'll have to sand box them a bit to come up with what their aviation support will be, it will not be much.

Put a few together or team some up with an AV.

You never know what the effect will be, but I'm going to find out.

By effects I meant aviation support/aircraft capacity. With both support and aircraft capacity they would be a great asset in game. Ive done map modding and airplane tops but not ships.

The “Reluctant Admiral” Mod by John has added a lot of ships but I dont think it added these.

I was trying to figure out how many planes you need to lose at sea to make an entire class of aircraft salvage vessels economic!

In game terms, they should be AVPs
