I have been trying to use paratroopers in the US Marine Corps DLC. I think I've been doing everything right (I've played PC for years--so I know how to use them). Are they disabled in this DLC or is there some other trick to using them?

You might want to get more specific. I own Panzer Corps Gold 1.30. When I play the Marine Corps DLCs, I have not encountered problems with dropping paratroops. Do you have a different version?

I'm also using version 1.30. It seems that when the scenario has pre-deployed paratroops, there is no problem. But when I deploy my own, and I go to an airfield that I control, they won't embark on a plane.

Thanks for the insight. I'll have to try that.

I also recently noticed that when I deployed paratroopers at the beginning of the scenario, they deployed in their air transports. But when I deploy them later in the scenario to replace other infantry I lost, they don't appear to have transports.

Perhaps they have to be deployed at the beginning of the scenario in order to have transports?

Sorry, I meant "U.S. Corps."

Not every scenario foresees the deployment of paratroopers inside an air transport.
In technical terms, not every scenario has paratrooper slots enabled.
