Hi all,

I sadly lost my old computer and forced to get a new one. Was able to retrieve saved files but original install data gone. Cant wait for TOAW4,
so I went and repurchased TOAW3. New install works fine (running Windows 10). But when I try to load some maps I had made, I am told the versions
are not compatible.

Is there a way to load old map files and update them?

On which version of TOAW your maps were done? See here if you have Cow version:

Thanks for the reply. Fortunately I was able to figure out the problem and correct it. It appears the most current download is an older version of the file (3.2.9xxx) but all my old work was on 3.4.0xxx. Strange. Though I didn't have the original download, I still had the update .exe, so I just updated the version I just purchased. Problem solved.
