John tiller's Campaign Series v2.02 translate it to another language?.
Is to translate the UI of the game into Spanish...


1-Which file translates the start menu of the game?
2-Which file translates the action bar below?
3-Which file translates Popup Windows?

to folders:
East Front (UI 2.2)
West Front (UI 2.2)
Rising Sun (UI 2.2)
WW1 v1.1 (mod UI OLD 1.0)

Note: I thought it was this "PDATA.HLP" but the changes do not work (edit with Notepad++)

AFAIK, the code has only ever supported English, French & German, never Spanish. (Support for French & German has been removed from Campaign Series: Middle East and later games due to lack of Dev Team resources.)

Translated menus etc. are incorporated into the EXEs at build (compile) time. They are not under player control, cannot be modified by the player.

Except in the case of the frontend launcher menus. For the frontend only, yes, you can redo those menu BMPs as a mod, as you please. (As you have shown in your image.)

But in the game itself, you are stuck with English only.

Also note that the John Tiller Campaign Series has been end-of-lifed. There will be no more updates to JTCS. (But there will be new releases and updates of the newer, next generation Campaign Series.)

berto: Thanks for the reply, it's a pity, I had it all done, I just needed the document in English and the buttons toolbar. But if this all compiled that exe we do not have access to it, thanks for everything.
