Looking for a new battle

Been playing loads of Bombur's games and looking to get a vanilla game of ATG going. Saw the new post on tank design, and now it makes sense. Would love to get a battle going if any are interested. I've been playing awhile, but I'd rate myself as decent. Any parameters are fine.

I can play with you, but I can´t do many turns a week since I started my tasks in ernie´s new scenario. I would suggest, however, to try Ormand´s Four Season´s mod. It has a vanilla feeling but has a much improved engine. I really need to learn more on this mod.

Hey, no worries... and I understand. Your Mark III of your mod sounds outstanding. I'm playing your mod in four games right now and having a blast. I've tried to get the four seasons running, but I always have issues getting it going. I can be a bit tech idiotic at times, so if you guide me through the installation, I'd love to give it a go. I'll try to install it now. Looking forward to squaring off against you... and thanks for picking up the gauntlet--you saved me 40 bucks on picking up a new game to fill in some free time.

Okay, loaded it up... and doing a scenario to get my feet wet. It will be fun to learn a new system.

Good to see you were able to install it. Tell me when you´re ready to play.

'Had a go' of the mod last night. Really, really cool. Love all the directions you can go with R & D and allows for loads of strategy and tactic choices. As a infantry guy, I really liked the many forms of infantry. I did find a issue though. Commando's (which I love) when brought to level II the production cost becomes 999999 and you can't build them. Can you fix a glitch as we go, or mid game? I'd hate to get a good game going and have to stop. This mod is loads of fun though. I really am looking forward to exploring it.

Actually, I just checked recon, light, and combat engineers are also unproducable at level 2. All great model for an army, but they must be able to advance in levels to be worth while. Great mod though. Love the graphic for Combat Engineers... hope the issue is easily resolvable... this mod would join your mod as my ATG staple if that gets worked out.

If you are having a problem with Ormands mod, I suggest contacting him. Either via the boards (PM or posting in the mod forum) or email, if you have it.
Like most modders he probably hates when something isn't going exactly how he wants it to do, and would appreciate being let know.

I'm using the steam version, I wonder if that is the issue?

Hey, the issue with building infantry is resolved. So if you want to battle let's give it a go. Do you want to set it up? Or do you want me to? If you do, can I play the Russians, US, Brits, or Germans... some armies just don't get my juices flowing. Whatever parameters are fine, I'll adjust. If you want me to set it up that's fine as well. Thanks for the battle.

Ok, you can set up the game, you can also invite other players. Do you want to play on dropbox?
