It's cool how the game scales - is there a summary somewhere of what each unit represents in each campaign?

I want to know the scale so that I can give my core units custom names - eg in the USMC campaign should I be naming them as platoons or companies (assuming they aren't big enough for battalions), but in the Blitzkreig campaign maybe they're even divisions?

It varies by campaign, so what you need to do is to do some research on the internet about the topic battle and determine this for yourself.
