I suppose I'm getting old but my mind is still able to comprehend a sentence (I think [;)]). But I do find parts of these rules beyond me. In any case suppose I want to see how many T-34s we produced last week. Exactly where do I find that. Is that the same as "pool" or "capacity" in the production report? Or what?

I'm in my first Soviet 41 campaign, so you'll probably be seeing me pop up with questions on a regular basis.

in the production screen you'll see the overall builds. There's no option to see current week production of a specific tank unless you noted the previous turn built number (or load the previous save to check).
Capacity shows the available production capacity but any damage would affect this. Pool shows elements in both active (on-hand) and transfer (sent-back) pool

But all the elements in the pool aren't necessarily sent out that turn, are they?

No. The pool is something like a virtual storage facility for equipment going out and returning.
Elements will only be sent out if required and if sufficient manpower is available in active pool.

Dont try to get all the rules in one run. You will turn crazy. Just learn the basics and start playing. Many things are details that arent so relevant, unless you are playing multi player and what to maximize your efforts.
