I was confused a bit about how the game turns went when I started playing. I've since figured it out and share it here for newbies.
There are four Winter turns of 21 days each.
There are 9 Spring turns of 11 days each.
There are 12 Summer turns of 7 days each.
There are 9 Fall turns of 9 days each.
There are 34 turns in the game year.
BUT, those 34 turns are game turns. Each player actually only gets 17 turns a year.
So there are only 17 Axis or Allied player turns. So the average player turn is actually 25 days.

Initially this really chafed on me. However, I'm gradually warming up to it as PBEM has a reasonable pace to it. I can see that games will be able to be played to a conclusion where my beloved War in Europe rarely finished. So, I'm giving it a chance, especially via PBEM. I'm playing around with alternating weekly turns in solitaire games.

This is very helpful Majpalmer. I was going to sit down and figure it out myself; so thank you for taking the time to do so.

Does anyone have a chart with the dates of all the turns in the game on it?

Game turns are easily adjusted by using the game editor. You can make them what ever length you want regardless of season and make them simultaneous. My preference are simultaneous weekly turns but each to their own

The easiest way to get the full date and turn information is to open the desired campaign from the game Editor.
From there under File->Export Dates, it will generate a Dates.txt file, which I believe defaults to your installation folder, and this will give you a breakdown of all the turns by date and for whom each turn applies, i.e. Axis or Allied.

Thanks Hubert!
Also is there anywhere that indicates the % chance of a particular weather state for each turn (I realise this varies per region)?
