Just happened in my game: two British CCs were able to broadside the Gneisenau at a 5-hex distance! is it a known issue?

Is this from an AI or possibly a PBEM game? If it was for a PBEM game could this possibly have been during the replay?

I only ask as there are some occasions where during the PBEM process that a turn may show a replay incorrectly, but the turn itself was played out properly by your opponent.

Hello Hubert. This was from a game with the AI playing the Allies. I have save files for both before and after it happened if you need but I'm not sure I can upload them here, they are pretty big.

This appears to have happened to me also in AI game. I didn't save any files.

I have also had either a British BC or BB hit one of my German BBs at range 3.
It sailed away afterwards and I never knew which ship it was.

There were intervening subs in the Kattegat and the Brit couldn't have gone through, yet still damaged my BB whcuh was two hexes behind the subs.
It only happened once, and I didn't save the file.
I was Axis vs the AI.

I have also had this issue, although in my game it was AI Italian Battleships that hit and destroyed a British battleship in the Adriatic Sea at a distance of 5 or 6 hexes with numerous other ships in the way. Unfortunately i dont have a save file.

Just had an instance of an AI Brit destroyer (with presumably upgrades of Naval Warfare and ASW, showed 1 1 on the unit counter) attacking my Italian buddies at range two.
I do have a save this time.

Had another today, the Nelson BB hit my destroyer from 2 hexes.
