Someone suggested that I should check out the SHP files in SPWW2 for icons to include in the upcoming H2H patch. Would it be OK to do this, assuming I give the SP Camo group credit? Brent 'Grenadier' Richards mentioned to me that the military multihex buildings were actually taken directly from SPWW2, but I don't want to 'eat off their plate' if it raises any ethical questions.

The military multihex buildings are from SP2 originally and SP Camo did not do any work on the buildings, just units.

Actually there is already some SPWW2 stuff in the H2H mod...I included several icons like T-34s or the one or other Pz-IV plus several pics...

I see no problems in using them...I would have used more features of SPWW2 if I just had been able to (like the original ranks, e.g.), just to get the best of both worlds...there're some things in SPWW2 that are simply better done then in SPWAW and as an old SPWW2 player I even tried to model the one or other battlefield behaviour in H2H closer to it...as this whole thing is non-commercial (SPWW2, SPWAW and H2H mod) I can't see a reason why we shouldn't use the best stuff we can get...

But maybe I didn't gave the Camo guys enough credit till now, so:

Thanks for the info...I had a feeling that many of the SHPs were 'borrowed' from the original SP, but I wanted to 'get a ruling' before doing any borrowing of my own.
