Modding Question

I was wondering if someone could assist me please?
My aim is to mod Slovakia out of the start of the 39 campaign by making it part of Germany, however if i set it to "Annexed" , "Surrendered" or change the tiles to German owned (Or a mix of all three) the editor crashes when i attempt to save.
Could someone point out what i am doing wrong please? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure, but you could try changing the capital to a regular town or city before doing anything.
When you hit save you should get a message about some scripts needing updating. Sometimes the updating process takes a while and the Editor can appear to freeze during this process.
You could always update the scripts before pressing save, by going to Campaign -> Edit Event Scripts (and also Edit AI Scripts) and press the Update* button.
